In addition to the increasing number of cancellations of events amid increasing fears of the Corona virus, the Swedish Music Broadcasting Service Spotify is rescheduling all events in India, including one media event that was scheduled to take place in Mumbai on March 24.
Earlier, Amazon’s retail giant Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced on Wednesday that it had canceled a major summit in India due to growing concerns about the Corona virus. AWS was scheduled to hold the summit in Mumbai from 7-9 April.
Spotify said he decided to reschedule the events because he wanted to ensure the person’s health and safety was not compromised.
Corona virus has become a reality in India, with 29 cases confirmed across the country by the first half of Thursday.
Amid growing fears, the past few days have witnessed the cancellation of a number of commercial and media events, leading some companies to choose to launch their products by default or smooth.
A number of companies, including Twitter, have encouraged their employees to work from home.
