It really is entering the wearable market in India, which has been annoying it for some time. The company detailed a plan for its entry into the AIoT ecosystem during its Realme X50 Pro 5G launch today. It plans to bring four smart hubs to the market including smart screen, smart watch, smart headphones and smart earphones. In a large number of tweets, India CEO Madhav Sheth revealed that Realme’s much-torn Smart Band will be unveiled on March 5. He also posted a teaser, taking a look at the smart watch, along with other smart devices.
As part of its wearable offerings in its AIoT ecosystem, Realme plans to launch a smart band and smartwatch soon. Although there are no details on these two products, the smart band will be unveiled on March 5 according to a tweet provided by Madhav Sheth. It has a curved screen that should help the band sit comfortably on the wrist. The Realme Band is similar to the Honor Band 5 launched last year.
When talking about the smart watch, the short video clip that Madhav shared on Twitter shows a quick overview of the watch through a circular dial and a black belt. There is no information on specification, sizes or features of the watch. Unlike the smart band, it is not known when the watch will be revealed.
At the Realme X50 Pro launch event, Realme shared its AIoT ecosystem that will be controlled and managed through the Reame Link app. Its devices are classified into three categories: Personal, Travel and Family. The personal section will include wearable devices, the travel section will include bags, power banks and travel chargers, while the family section will include smart screen, smart speakers, smart camera, sweeping robot and other devices.
The short video also gives glimpses of some of these devices such as smart headphones, earphones and a few others.
