Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S6 in India in October 2019 and we loved the tablet when we reviewed it. Galaxy Tab S6 was a flagship device and its price was very high at Rs. 59,900 put it out of reach of many people. It seems that Samsung has noticed this and is working on a Galaxy Tab S6 Lite that should be affordable to everyone compared to the Galaxy Tab S6. Galaxy Tab S6 Lite seems to be getting closer to launch because we’ve already seen stolen device leaks floating online. The device was also detected on the Bluetooth Certification website indicating an imminent launch.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite phone is shown online and shared by Android Headlines. According to its Lite brand, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite feels like a shrinking version of the Galaxy Tab S6. S Pen Stylus is also seen in the leaked rendering, and looks like the stylus that shipped with the Galaxy Tab S6. This S Pen can have wireless charging but details are unknown.
Separately, Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite was also discovered on the Bluetooth SIG website. Certification tips that the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will carry a model number SM-P615 and comes with a Bluetooth 5.0 certification. That’s not all, the tablet was also discovered on the Geekbench website and sheds some light on its internal components. Geekbench listing tips that Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will be powered by Exynos 9611 SoC and said to have 4GB RAM. The tablet also scored 346 on single-core tests and 1259 on multi-core tests.
